about

There is one light, gently swaying in an otherwise dark room. You strain to see anything beyond the small circle of illumination. On the floor is a rug, and beyond that cold concrete. You are sitting in the middle.

Bus Gas is an improvisational drone band from Lincoln, Nebraska. Our album title, "6 movements in 4 hours" has three interpretations. It's a poop joke, a commentary on our own occasional lethargy, and a more literal description of the album's recording process. Pick your favorite, or make up your own!

A limited run of 100 copies of the album was released on Sweat Lodge Guru Tapes & Records on April 27, 2011 (www.sweatlodgeguru.com). The run of cassette tapes sold out within hours, but if you're interested, you can still download the entire album from this site. You get over 57 minutes of music.

Thank you for listening, we hope you enjoy and share it with your friends.
